Tim Anderson is a native of Tuscaloosa, AL. Shortly after graduating high school, TA attended East Central Community College in Decatur, Mississippi. From there, he was selected in the 2013 MLB Draft as the 17th overall pick to the Chicago White Sox. After three years in the minor leagues, TA received the call to the major leagues on June 10, 2016. In 2018, Tim became the first shortstop in White Sox history to have a 20/20 season, with 26 stolen bases and 20 homeruns. Then in April 2019, TA won player of the month, and ended the season as the 2019 American League Batting Champion, with a batting average of .335.
